Mercury MerCruiser is our Registered Apprenticeship Champion.  They go the extra mile to promote RA for example- calls to prospective customers, serve on the WIB board, attend Action Clinics just to name a few.  We’d like to recognize them for being such a valuable partner over the past 10 years!

We’re interested in hearing about other great RA partners.  Who is your champion and what are they doing to go the extra mile? 

Team Hawaii came to the Action Clinic already understanding their biggest obstacle was to get state-level leaders engaged in this dialogue. Here's the good news- they didn't spend their time complaining, instead they created an action plan to lead up! They could either wait for the green light or take action. They chose the latter and left  with a plan to convene a grassroots coalition to sell their vision and opportunity. It takes courage and conviction to make change, kudos to my team!

Calling all Registered Apprenticeship Programs in California!  Are you connected or engaged in this effort?  This initiative is focused on establishing a pipeline to green careers by recruiting disadvantaged workers into the city training programs that can train and connect unemployed and underemployed workers from under-served communities to construction apprenticeship.  Read more
