Lane Community College will be adding two new associate's degrees for students to choose from this fall. The two new degrees are Associate of Applied Science in Construction Trades and Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Apprenticeship. A similar program, the electrical trades, began in June 2008. LCC has offered courses on these programs as non-credit courses for years, but now students will be able to earn a degree while learning their skill trade.
