Energy Independence: The NJATC Trains Electricians in an Ever-Changing Technological Landscape

The National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC), created over 68 years ago, has developed into possibly the largest electrical apprenticeship and training program of its kind. Rick Purper, the director of the NJATC for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in Southern California, recently sat down with Sean Reynolds of Energy Independence Magazine to discuss the goals and merits of the program, and why, in his opinion, the NJATC does a good job of training skilled workers for the future of the Inland Empire.
