Working together employers and community colleges can boost America's training

Eric Spiegel, president and chief executive of Siemens Corp. and the vice president of the Business Roundtable's Education and Workforce Committee wrote this opinion piece that highlights the importance of employers and community colleges working together to ensure our workforce is well trained and able to meet the skill needs of today's industries. In the article, Spiegel discusses the recent Obama administration's announcement of the next round of Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grants as an important step forward in addressing what he refers to as America's "Training Gap".
