Stacey Jarrett Wagner, a Workforce Systems Development Manager with the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), wrote a great blog on the re-emergence of Registered Apprenticeship as a popular way to provide work-based education and training. Of RA's history & recent increase in popularity, Jarrett-Wagner states that... "what goes around, comes around, and apprenticeships are once again becoming popular as a way to receive a work-based education. Recently the Obama Administration announced new investments in American Apprenticeship Grants." Read the full blog at the NIST MEP Website by clicking 'View Page Now" to the right.
