The Wall Street Journal ran a great article on the opportunities available for workers pursuing technical or "practical" training, outside of the traditional 4 year college route. Apprenticeship is mentioned as the article covers the journey of several workers pursuing careers in varying industries. Welding, Franchise Management, and RN career paths are highlighted in this great look at the career opportunities available to U.S. workers willing to work hard and take advantage of training opportunities to gain the technical and practical skills so many employers today are looking for.
