50,000 Reasons Why Apprenticeship Works!

Posted by John Ladd - On March 01, 2011 (EST)

The article we submitted for the March issue of ACTE’s Techniques magazine has been published.  The entire March issue is dedicated to Apprenticeship. This link takes you to the E-zine version of the magazine and the article can be found on page 22.

This is great publicity for us! We'd like to hear what you think about the article, so leave us a comment.

Thank you.

If you have not had a chance to look over the March issue of Techniques, I say....what are you waiting for :)? With so much effort going into finding ways to better connect with the career technical education community and other post-secondary education providers, the coverage apprenticeship gets in this issue is a huge win. Techniques reaches over 27,000 members of the Asociation for Career and Technical Education. It's great to know that the entire issue gives these educators a broad and compeling look at several diferent aspects of apprenticeship and details how it can be a great strategy for furthering their students career preparation. Inside the March issue you'll find articles on DOL's Regstered Apprenticeship program; an inside look at how some Trades are using a 21st century apprenitceship model; how the apprenticeship model is being incorporated in a Maryland High School in a fun way; and much much more. For those of you (me included) working to spread the apprenticeship word, this is exciting stuff!
